Aid is if you are in need of food or military supplies and you are neutral in war. A treaty is a formal agreement on paper for peace. an alliance is when two or more countries are friends during war and would fight for each other.
My great grandma on my dads side came from Palermo Italy to Rosemont IL. She came with my grandfather when she was 16 and he was still a little baby. She still struggles with her English and she is 92 and still lives in Rosemont. My Grandfather speaks fluent English and Italian. They struggled in the beginning with money but next year my grandfather is retiring from his job that he has worked all his life at. We still keep a lot of recipes from Italy like a special lasagna or tortellini. This post affects your history because it was an important event that happened in my life and I would not be in the U.S .

One big thing about me is I love playing soccer. The league that I have always played on is Storm. I have been on that league ever since I was 6 years old. I have changed age groups recently so I am playing with girls two years older than with me because my age groups team fell apart. I also play for my Jr highs team as a goalie. Playing soccer has helped me so much by focusing , meeting new people, and it helped my communication skills. In soccer you have to talk to your teammates to see who is going to "mark there man" or "cover the ball". I do National Jr Honor Society at my Jr high which is a program to do 20 hours of community service by the end of the school year. This program really taught me how to be independent and responsible for meeting a big requirement by a dead line. 1. What traditions do we keep from Poland ?
Every Christmas my Mom and I make Kolacky's which are Polish cookies mainly made around the holidays. 2.Why did we move to the United States? What was the thought when you found out you were pregnant with me? My Mom was scared yet Excited. 7. What made you name me Angelina Destiny? Angelina was a road by my dads job and my mom always riding down that road. Later on my parents started calling me Angel. Then my middle name is destiny because my mom always thought it was her destiny to have a girl. 8. How have I changed through out the years? Over the years I have became a lot more confident and more independent. 9. What hospital was I born in? I was born in Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee. 10. Was it hard to have me around when I was little? No because I was adorable and funny. plus I did not cry a lot when I was a baby. Geography is Earths physical features and human features including locations of places and regions, and political boundaries.
One place that has effected me is Peoria Illinois. That is a place in southern Illinois where I had most of my soccer tournaments up until two years ago. That's when my soccer team which i had been with since 3rd grade we broke apart. We all went to the same hotel and had a sleepover that first Friday and we all just bonded as almost like a family. But with a family comes drama and this family had tons! And that is one of the biggest reasons I don't trust a lot of people. we went from a family to being so nasty to not just the coach that would do anything for us. But we were so mean to each other. Another place is Tennessee that is the place where I was born and its where most of my favorite family member still are. They have supported me no matter what I want to do. One of my closest relatives is my Uncle and he is still down in Jackson, Tennessee. |
