I just started my social studies blog and I'm just starting to learn how to use it.
Civics of my life
The definition of civics is active participation within societies, schools, neighborhoods, classrooms, groups, and/or organizations. My parents are in the working class. Also my grandparents are working class from both sides of my family, they were both farmers. My father needed to drop out of school because there wasn't money to let him keep on with his education so after that he worked with my grandfather to make money for the family. My mother also had to drop out because of money so after that my parents moved to the U.S. Now parents send money back home to help my aunt's finish college and high school.

My History
History means the study of post events, particularly in a human affairs. My history starts with my parents. My dad and mom both come from Mexico.my dad had tried many times to come and then he finally came to the U.S. My mom came with two of my uncles from my mom's side and was her first time she tried coming to the U.S. When she did she stayed in an apartment near where I live now. This is where my dad stayed to and where they met. My mom says she would clean and wash clothes in the apartment and cook. My mom says that my dad would ask who washed his clothes and she would say it was one of my uncles. In my dads defense he says he knew my mom did it. Off topic a bit but back to the main history of my parents, they had me a year later. I believe it was "young love" instead of an oopsis. My mom said I was a quite baby that didn't fuss a lot only if I was hungry or needed changing. Then my best friend was born, my sister 5 years later that's nine now and goes to elementary school. She's my only sibling and first cousins is around 10 (lost count) and the rest impossible to count all. For my history I have always lived in Illinois and lived in one house.(best place but moved ) I am pretty much the goofball I'm my family. I like to cheer up my sibling and cousins when there upset, I make it my life mission to make you laugh at least one time. And for school I finally got the program and trying my hardest. This sums up how I was born and how I lived till now.
Story of my life #4(extended family)
None of my family members came through Ellis or Angel island. My extended family either came from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, or they are american citizens. When I was born My aunts and uncles were new to the U.S. So growing up I didn't have a lot of money and my parents didn't get to buy me new things so when I did I would try my hardest to take care of my things. I remember that when I was 9-10 I would save a lot of money and then waste it in me and my cousins because all the adults would be working and being the oldest meant I got to babysit but I liked it, it was nice. I would ask my favorite uncle to go buy us candy and ice cream and cookies from the store then the next day me and my cousins got to eat them after dinner. We and my cousins made my uncle promise that he wouldn't tell my parents or my aunts and uncles and in return we would let him pick three out of options. My family figured it out after the next 5 months. The lens I see in my story is mostly about economics and history. It has economic texture because its all about money and is talking about our history, showing what I did when I was younger.
Bronies
Definition of this type of subculture: Men in the ages between 18 and 35 that like My Little Pony- Friendship is Magic
. It's a T.V. show that has four seasons going. They think that there is a bigger meaning to the story. Friendship is important and it is like magic that has to be cherished. Why I chose this topic was because it interested me a bit because I watched the show and it seems okay. The bronies where first known in 2010 and 2011 and the ages were around 18 and 35. Today its also older woman and even older men. For the people that don't know what little pony is I'm going to put some of the main characters under and a video to get more info. Go bronies! What is the difference between aid, a treaty, and an alliance?
An alliance is when a group of people have the same goal that team up for the meanwhile to knockout the the other person. An aid is like help but their really not working with you or working with the enemy, like an onlooker. And a treaty is like a deal made between two countries.
