Bronies are male fans of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" that is outside the target demographic of little girls. Most bronies are teenagers to young adult males. The first airing of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Forever" came out on October 10th, 2010. The bronies have grown so big that there are lots of different websites about it. Lauren Faust is the creator of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic." The reason why i chose this subculture is because it seems interesting and I want to know more!
Both of my parents came from mexico a little after they got married. My dad already had family in the US when he got married so they stayed at my dads house. My mom didn't have any family in the US when they came so she didn't know many people. My dad also knew how to speak English but my mom only knew Spanish so it was harder for her to fit in.
This relates to my geography lens because my family moved and traveled from a different state. The geography lens means "Earth's physical features and human features including locations of places and regions, and political boundaries. I think if my parents would have stayed in mexico I would have had a different life style. I also probably would have not known how to talk English well. Geography means earth's physical features and human features including locations of places and regions, and political boundaries. Which can be location, region, migration, culture, changes in physical system such as climate, travel, settlement, diffusion, and region. I picked this lens because i can relate to it. For starters I am Mexican and my parents moved to the U.S. once they got married in mexico. I have traveled to a few places like mexico. The climate in the U.S. is different, for example in Mexico its much warmer than in the U.S. Also I celebrate a Mexican tradition on January 7 called "el dia de los tres reyes" which means "the day of the three kings." Its like a second Christmas because we get presents, but in order to get presents you have to put one of your shoes under the Christmas tree and on the next day there are presents by your shoe. Adults don't really get presents but kids do. This is a little bit more about me.
Economic means how people choose to use resources and the ways in which governments, businesses, societies, and individuals distribute and consume human capital, and natural resources. To sum it up it talks about money and jobs for the most part. You must be wondering, "how does economics relate to who I am?" Well to start it off I am middle class and both of my parents work. They work while I am at school. Since they work I sometimes stay home alone for a little bit after school. I moved to Woodridge due to money problems.
