What really surprised me in learning about Angel/Ellis island is how the inspectors didn't were gloves just used their dirty hands or unwashed doctor material to check for eye disease. I found that gross because you are basically spreading the disease. I wish I could we could have watched an interview of someone who came from Ellis or Angel island.
History is acquiring knowledge about significant events and individual developments over time. This fits me perfectly because i have a lot of history in my life story. I was born in April 18, 2001. I was born in America and i live with my Mom, sister, and rabbit. I'm African american, Mexican, Irish. I'm a cheerleader at my school and I'm a gymnast. I live in Illinois and I'm in the middle class. This all shapes me for who I am because it makes me, me. It has helped me become the girl I am and I'm proud to be me.
