Doomsday Preppers are crazy people that think that the world is going to end and prepare drastically for it.We chose this because it is funny to watch people spend almost millions on preparing for something that most likely will not happen. An example is in the 1960's in the cold war Americans and Russians alike both dug Atomic bomb shelters.A modern day example is the T.V. series Doomsday preppers. Some notable leaders who prepared for the future are Winston Churchill (Former British prime minister) Confucius John F Kennedy.
I lived in Berkeley IL when I was born and after of a couple of months we moved to Woodridge. Berkeley IL is very different from Woodridge. Woodridge is a more cleaner and well behaved and Berkeley IL is filled with shootings, drugs and violence. My family did not want to live by bad people so they looked for a house and found one in Woodridge. I traveled to many states and traveled to one country. I traveled too Indiana , Michigan , Wisconsin , Missouri , Minnesota,Ohio, Florida, South Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kentucky and Canada. This impacted me to explore the world and just stay in one area for along time.
I was very surprised of what I learned about the Elise Island and Angel Island. Something that surprised me the most is the amount of immigrants that came. Millions of immigrants came to America to find better opportunities and jobs. Something that I want to know is when you become a citizen, what happens next? I found out that when after Immigrants became citizens, some that had money bought shelter right away. Some poor people worked and saved there money and waited in tell they had enough money to buy shelter.
I was born on Oct. 17, 2000. Around 2001 we moved to Woodridge. I started to play baseball when I was 6. That shaped me to play sports and not to sit on my butt and not to be lazy. Are family changed when my sister was born on August 5, 2004. I finally had my own sister that I would protect and love. When I was little I went to a private school called Chesterbrook academy. That was the first school I went to. The school helped me to interact with other people that I don't know. After Kindergarten I went to Goodrich. When I was 11 my great grandma died in 2011 and also a very nice lady named Merry passed away. She shaped me to never be a person that begs for stuff.
How did our family come to America?
