Being a survivalist is being a person that are preparing for the end of the world. The reason we chose this subculture is, because many people are preparing for the end of the world. A historical example of this is during the Cold War people were preparing for an attack with nukes. A modern day example is anyone on Doomsday Preppers.Civics is the active participation within societies, schools, neighborhoods, classrooms, groups, and/or organizations. The civics of my life are pretty interesting. At 6 months old I went to Vilaseca a preschool which is run by catholic nuns , and I did all 6 years at Meadowview Elementary School. I have done my 7th and this year at Jefferson. Next year I will going to Downers Grove North. At 5 years old I started playing baseball for the Woodridge park district. At 7 years old I started playing basketball for the park district, and I have also been involved with my church's Thanksgiving gift basket give away.
In the early 1970's my grandparents along with my mom and aunt, came to the United states from Mexico in search of better opportunities. They flew to Illinois for a better life. My grandpa arrived first, and once he established a job he flew back to Mexico to bring back my grandma, mom, and aunt to begin their new life.

He loaded missiles on to fighter jets. Was I named after someone? Answer: I was named after my dad. What was your first job? Answer: My dad's first job was at a used furniture store. -Dad is from Joliet.
