This picture symbolizes nationalism because it is a country with heart surrounding it. This shows love for that certain country. The definition of nationalism is a 'patriotic feeling, principles, or efforts'. This image shows that the people would do anything for their country and has complete pride in being apart of its people, companies and government.
The definition of aid is to help, assist or support in the achievement of something.
The definition of treaty is a formally concluded and ratified agreement between countries. The definition of alliance is a union of association formed for mutual benefit for mutual benefit, especially between countries or organizations. The difference between aid and the others (alliance and treaty) is it is helping another country and giving them assistance like food or war weapons, more objects. The difference between alliance and treaty is that an alliance is much stronger. An alliance is when countries would go into war with each other and a treaty is an written agreement. The things that surprised me when we learned about the immigration system was how harsh they were. America had so many requirements against incoming immigrants which some i agreed with, like procedures with health and sickness procedures. I would like to learn more about the stories of what the immigrants do and how they survive after they come through to the big city. I would like to know how they survive with such little money and no experience in america.
Civics is active participation within societies, schools, neighborhoods, classrooms, groups and/or organizations.
Since i was younger i have enjoyed being around people and experiencing new things. When i lived in Naperville, i went to Scott Elementary School and went to the resource center which was an after school program. In the summer we would have summer camp and go on field trips to bowling alleys and skating rinks. This organization made me learn how to communicate with new people and get to know them. I did cheer leading for 3 years from 6-9 in Naperville for he NYFL (National Youth Football League). My family has a long line of basketball players so i decided to try it at this in house league called the Panthers in Bolingbrook. I turned out to be pretty good. I quit cheer leading and focused on basketball. I have played basketball ever since i was 10 and i am still with Panthers to this day. I also participate in Panthers volleyball and that was also a fun experience. These teams showed me that even though we are all different, we can come together to enjoy something that we all like. It showed me that it was more than being on a team, it was being in a family. I am a very social person and i think it is because i have participated in so many activities and organizations and i have learned to adjust to different environments and cultures. Civics is a big part of my life and it has helped me and will continue to. What hospital was i born in and whats its location?
