My family history is pretty simple. My whole family is originated from Lithuania in Europe. But recently I have learned that my great grandmother was born in Russia and when she was married in her early thirties she moved to Lithuania. Both her parents and her husband were part Russian. (But her husband was mainly Lithuanian he grew up there but his family moved to Russia.) So that means my mom has some Russian in her I guess that means I am part Russian as well. I never knew that, I thought I was 100 percent Lithuanian but I just learned that was not true. My grandmother told me the story of how my great grandmother traveled to Lithuania. They were very very poor so they could not afford any type of transpertation so she and her husband decided that they would travel on foot to Lithuania.Since they were poor they couldn't afford a place of there own so they moved in with her husbands sister. They decided to go to Lithuania because they were expecting a baby and they wanted to have the child where her husband was originally from so they took the long journey to Lithuania by foot. That is mainly all I know about any other part that my family has originated from. This story falls under the category of not only history but also geography because, this is all about moving so that goes under geography but it all happened in the past and it affected where we all started out our lives. That makes it the history of my family origin.
