I learned that the land of opportunity didn't have an unlocked door. Even though America had all of the promise it was hard to get into . If you just had a common cold your chances of getting that promise were slim.
I wonder if a Pearson would be denied access into the country because their race. I'm sure that their were racist people working at both places and would come up with something to not have someone in the country because of their race. This is just a theory though. Even though The united states was hard to get into, Its worth it. The freedoms that is given to a united states citizen is unreal. Such as electing OUR government, Choosing what you want to do in your life, Worship who you want to worship, etc. From making a sporting team to my first steps, I am filled with history. Sometimes I am affected by the history of people around me. For those who don't know history is basically everything in your past.
I was born March 27,2001, the second child of my mother and first of my dad. At the time I had on 1 Sibling, my brother who was 9 years old at the time. He had a different father, same mother. but my dad is his dad and we have always been close. My parents noticed at young age that something was wrong with my eyes. they took me to the eye doctor and i had a lazy eye. One of my eyes was better than the other and i had to wear this patch for a while. It was annoying and stressful. think of having to try to explain what a lazy eye is to a bunch of kindergartners. So that was annoying, but thanks to that boulder in my history I have kinda got an extra layer of skin and know how to deal with hurt. I have always been an athlete. I started with t-ball, then came basketball, floor hockey, soccer and eventually my two main sports that i do know soccer and cross country. being on all those teams taught me a lot about being a leader, teamwork, and dedication. I am glad athletics have been in my history because they have taught me a lot of skills that i need today. In conclusion thanks to my history i am a better person today. |
