This is a picture of the day of the pageant. Im on the left corner, a little bit cropped out, but this was in BolingBrook. The lady in the middle is model at chicago, she really impacted my life because she gave me the strength to to model in front of everyone.
When you hear the word geography, its basically having to do with locations, climates, region etc. This hasn't impacted my life so much because I lived in the same community for my whole life; but I traveled to two other places. Which are California and Mexico, I go to Mexico every year because my mom left her parents to come live with my dad in Illinois. After going there I learned about my culture, my religion, what Mexicans eat, as well as what my own blood grew up like. My family from both my dad side, and mom side, grew up in Mexico. The majority still lives there but some live in Illinois and in California. That's why I visit those two places the most, although my family likes to experience new places, we plan to visit Florida some day too. This has shaped part of me because I learned about family and found some things in common, like I love traveling to other states or countries; to be honest I love Mexico more than here. I cry when I leave Mexico to come back to the United States, I know my family does too, simply because over there my whole family is there. My family is all about sticking together and having reunions/parties. Also where my parents grew up and where born, really impacted me because I love the Hispanic food and the way the store look like to shop; the beach is the best thing ever. I could literally live there for ever, swimming is what I like to do, hiking and camping has never been my thing. But I know the United States serves a better life, so thats why I live in Illinois today. The club i'm currently in is modeling, we do this supporting a BolingBrook church and this shaped who I am right at this moment because I had a pageant and I talked loud a clear. I didn't mess up at all, but I did not win at all; I didn't really care because my family and friends were happy with what I did since I was new to this. But i'm proud of myself because I want to be more outgoing and social, and so far modeling is really helping me. This BolingBrook club has also shaped me because my mom was also a model when a young-adult, and she won multiple times. Oh and I was born in Edward Hospital. This hasn't shaped a lot of me because I don't live in Naperville. A tradition my family does is go to Great America every summer, this impacts who I am now adventurous and willing to experience new things. This a little bit about my geography life. You had great explanations and I loved hearing about modeling. But since you mentioned that you visited two other places, you should've named them because people will be interested to know. Good job though :)

I like when you added about how traveling has impacted you, but i think you should include more about how being Hispanic impacted you.
