My whole life never had we had no money. Money can sometimes be tight and we might have to save a little until my dad brings home the bacon but, never have we not been able to afford something like food, gas, and necessities. My mom has always enjoyed getting a good deal, and of course being my moms child, she taught me her ways. We look for deals on the clearance racks, and deals on food and always go to the cheapest place for gas. My mom likes to look for a cheaper alternative to everything. For example my hamster that I bought recently got hand-me-downs from my other pets that they grew out of. Which was their wheels and toys. We didn't even need to go to the pet store to buy a cage we just made one. But my absolute favorite thing to do to save money is thrift store shop! A HUGE amount of my clothes come from thrift stores. You can find a cute dress for $3.00 and it's in great quality. What I like the best about shopping at a cheap price is that you can more for your money and that everything is one of a kind. Everything in the department store is so expensive, you can get one thing for $30. That is just way to much to spend on a clothing piece. It's not that we can afford clothes it is just how I was raised! I actually get excited when I find a good deal. It's like this really weird rush that gets me really happy. It's just the way I was raised. :)

I love how you were so detailed and explained how the back round of your family has kind of shaped who you are.

Nice job, I like how you say i learn my moms way. It sounds like you have been brought up tough. Has anyone else in your family been affected by your economic situation.
